NAPEOS Training Course
PosiTim will organize two NAPEOS training courses per year. The normal location for the training courses will be on the Canary Island of Gran Canaria in close cooperation with our local partner Soluciones Avanzadas Canarias S.LHowever, as PosiTim we are also interested and willing to give NAPEOS training courses on your premises. Contact us to arrange the details.
Training Course Schedule
The NAPEOS training course will span 4,5 days. The morning sessions, from 9 to 12 hours, will be theoretical sessions and the afternoon sessions, from 14-17 hours, will be computer "hands-on" sessions.In the theoretical sessions the participants will learn the basics of GNSS processing but with a strong focus on how this is implemented and applied in the NAPEOS software.
In the terminal sessions the participants will work with NAPEOS and process some simple examples which should give them a good overview and understanding on how NAPEOS works. Of course a one week course is not enough to make you an expert in GNSS processing but it will give you a "kick-start" into this exiting field.

Very First NAPEOS Training Course
The very first PosiTim NAPEOS training class will take place from:- October 25 to October 29, 2010 on Gran Canaria, Canary Islands, Spain.
The course is limited to 20 people. A few seats are still available for this course!
Course Logistics
The NAPEOS Training Course will be held from October 25 to 29, 2010, at the hotel Lopesan Costa Melonera, located on Gran Canarias, Canary Islands.Course participants have to make their own travel and hotel reservation. The course hotel offers special rates for the NAPEOS course participants at the course property (Costa Melonera) but also at their other properties (IFA Faro, Baobab, and Villa del Conde) which are all within walking distance. You can order a room directly by calling or e-mailing to Mrs. Isabelle Albino da Silva. Make sure to mention “NAPEOS” in your reservation.
The price range for the rooms is from ~€ 82 to 100 for a double room for individual usage. If you are taking your partner a double room is around ~€ 120. These prices exclude breakfast which would be € 6 to 8 extra. Notice that the NAPEOS course does include lunches and two breaks with refreshments.

The airport on the island is "Las Palmas" (airport code: LPA), which has direct flights with most European cities using regularly scheduled flights. The easiest way to get from the Airport to the Hotel is by taxi. The taxi takes approximately 30 minutes and costs around € 50.
